![]() ![]() Shaman: Can be used on Druid roaming builds in combination with Apothecary/Settler gear to get more vitality. Sentinel: Used by some guards in WvW to get more sustain than through soldiers. Settler: Used on some WvW roaming builds. For the weapons you found some niche use, on WvW players trying to maximise their immobilize duration, but there are better sets for that now. Giver: The only serious use I've seen of this armor combination is to get a bit more duration out of boons that you stack before a GvG starts, then swap to another set. You can also use a few pieces in WvW to give your build a lot of tankiness. Nomad: Some people use it on Healer builds in WvW, when they don't care about their damage output at all. Obviously desireable if you have guaranteed crits. Used in many WvW builds for the toughness, or people that don't want to go full glass in PvE.Ĭavalier: See Knight's gear. Knight: Very good gear in terms of offensive/defensive tradeoff. Rampager: Usually inferior to Sinister/Viper, but used when those stats aren't available (like on backpieces).Īssassins: Used as a supplement for a lot of PvE builds for a bit more optimized DPS, or when 100% crit chance is more important than a bit more power (reflections). ![]() ![]() Precision, Power and Toughness are all very commonly desirable stats. Usually outclassed by Marauders now, but can still be useful if you get a lot of guaranteed crits.Ĭaptain: Doesn't exist at level 80 (?), but could be used in WvW builds to get to certain stat distributions. Valkyrie: Used to be very popular on some pieces on roaming thieves or builds that have lots of guaranteed crits (like Remorseless Rangers). Soldier: Extremely popular in WvW to get tanky builds.įorsaken: Doesn't exist at level 80, could be used in addition to Magi gear in healer builds, if toughness is no issue. I'm not going to link to specific builds, as current WvW builds are rather flexible anyways in terms of gear.īerserker: Every other PvE build, if you read this you are probably already using it on multiple characters. ![]()
